Disclaimer & professional boundaries

General information for researching healthcare and veterinary careers abroad. Read these boundaries before relying on a guide or planning tool.

  • Using the site does not, by itself, engage the founder or any of his professional practices.
  • Check the current official requirements before applying, paying or making a move.

Any limitation of liability below is subject to the rights and liabilities preserved in section 11.

1. General information, not professional advice

MyClinicalJob is an independent information project founded by Mihail Florin Gavrila. It helps UK-based healthcare and veterinary professionals research overseas careers. Its public pages, news, newsletters, source summaries, downloads and free planning tools provide general information only.

Nothing on this website is individual legal, notarial, immigration, employment, tax, financial, medical, dental, pharmaceutical or veterinary advice. It is not a clinical service, a recruitment agency, a regulator, an immigration authority or a decision-maker. Do not use it to diagnose or treat anyone, direct patient care or establish your fitness to practise.

2. No professional engagement merely from using the site

Browsing, returning to the site, reading a founder biography, following a link, using a tool, downloading material or subscribing to a newsletter does not, by itself, instruct or retain the founder or any of his practices or other businesses. It does not, by itself, create a solicitor–client, notary–client, clinician–patient, fiduciary or other professional advisory relationship.

This website does not offer a contract for professional services through those activities. A general enquiry, automated acknowledgement or newsletter confirmation is not presented as acceptance of professional instructions. Arrange any intended professional service separately with the identified provider through its own engagement process, and establish whether your instructions have been accepted before relying on that provider.

This notice does not make browsing into a contract, and we do not treat continued access as agreement to a waiver. Equally, the absence of a professional-services contract does not remove duties or rights that arise independently under applicable law. An existing or separately established engagement is not cancelled, varied or limited by this notice.

3. Founder’s professional status and separate interests

Mihail Florin Gavrila’s description as a Solicitor-Advocate and Notary Public in England and Wales identifies his background. It does not mean that he is acting as your solicitor, notary or adviser through MyClinicalJob, is qualified to advise on every destination’s law or clinical-registration rules, or has personally approved every statement as professional advice.

MyClinicalJob’s general information service is distinct from his legal and notarial practices and other business activities. The professional regulation of an individual or another practice is not an approval, accreditation or endorsement of this website. A common founder, a linked website or similar branding does not, on its own, appoint one business as another’s agent or make a separate provider a party to your dealings.

Do not assume that the regulatory, insurance, complaints or privilege arrangements of a separate professional engagement automatically apply to general website use. Whether any protection, responsibility or remedy applies depends on the actual service, facts and law. Nothing here attempts to waive the founder’s applicable professional obligations, regulatory accountability or any right to raise a complaint with a competent body.

4. Recognition, registration and immigration are separate

Country and profession guides identify matters to investigate. They do not decide eligibility, validate qualifications, secure registration, confirm specialist status, approve employment or grant immigration permission. A route-finder result is not a regulator’s assessment, a legal opinion or a promise of a successful application.

Words such as “automatic”, “recognised”, “streamlined”, “approved” or “UK-linked” describe a particular process or qualification arrangement, subject to its actual conditions. They do not mean automatic permission to practise, work or live in a destination. Award dates, training location, citizenship, recent practice, language, supervision, good standing and the exact professional scope may change the outcome.

Only the responsible authorities can determine an application. Confirm the current route directly with the relevant regulator, immigration authority and intended employer, and obtain individual advice where needed.

5. Check before making commitments

Do not treat this website as the sole basis for resigning, accepting a post, changing training, paying application or examination fees, instructing a document service, booking travel, signing a lease or moving a household. Check the current official requirements, your own circumstances and the written terms of the actual offer or service first.

Notarisation, certification, translation, apostille and legalisation are different processes and are not universal requirements. Follow the particular authority’s or recipient’s instructions. Using MyClinicalJob does not require you to buy services from the founder, any connected practice or any other named provider.

6. Accuracy, dates and limits of coverage

We aim to make material useful and source-led, but cannot promise that every statement is complete, error-free, current or suitable for your circumstances. Requirements, fees, deadlines, vacancies, legislation and administrative practice can change without notice. News and archived newsletters describe their stated publication context and may later be superseded.

A “checked”, “reviewed” or publication date records an editorial date, not continuous monitoring, a promise to update you personally or regulator approval. A source link does not mean that every part of the source has been reproduced or that its interpretation has been endorsed. General summaries and translations can omit qualifications; check the original current text and authoritative guidance.

7. Tools, estimates and downloads

The route finder organises the information you supply; the budget calculator models your assumptions; checklists and exports are planning aids. They do not verify evidence, calculate your actual tax liability, predict take-home pay or prove that a move is affordable. Currency assumptions, illustrative costs and sample figures are not live quotations or guaranteed outcomes.

Outputs can be affected by missing or incorrect inputs, rounding, simplified assumptions, browser limitations or software errors. Check important calculations independently. Browser-saved checklists may be lost when storage is cleared or devices change; keep any records you need separately. A downloaded result retains the same information-only limitations as the page from which it came.

8. External providers, links and interests

Regulators, employers, recruiters, training providers, advisers and other external services make their own decisions and set their own terms. An inclusion, link, photograph or mention is not a guarantee of quality, safety, suitability, independence or availability, and does not create an agency or partnership merely through its appearance here.

We do not control external websites, subsequent changes, third-party communications or services you arrange directly. Investigate a provider before paying or sharing information. Any material sponsorship, referral arrangement or commercial interest should be identified where relevant; this notice is not a substitute for a required disclosure and does not authorise sharing your details.

9. Privacy, newsletters and confidential information

The Privacy page explains the handling of planning-tool information, browser storage, optional analytics and newsletter subscriptions. Newsletter consent is separate from any professional engagement and from any analytics choice. Subscribing does not waive data-protection or consumer rights.

Do not send patient records, passport copies, confidential employment papers or other sensitive information through a general website enquiry. A general enquiry is not a secure client-onboarding channel and does not, by itself, establish legal professional privilege. Applicable confidentiality and data-protection duties remain unaffected.

10. Liability: the limits we seek to apply

Read this section together with section 11. Its limits apply only to the extent permitted by law and, where required, only if they are fair and reasonable.

Subject to those limits, Mihail Florin Gavrila, the website operator and its editors and contributors seek to exclude liability for loss arising from treating this general information or a free planning output as individual professional advice, a verified eligibility assessment or a guarantee; relying on outdated, incomplete or erroneous material without the checks appropriate to the decision; or independent third-party decisions and services for which the law does not make them responsible.

Examples of the decisions for which you should obtain current confirmation include registration and visa applications, examinations, employment and training changes, document services, travel, accommodation and relocation expenditure. Listing these examples does not make an otherwise unlawful exclusion enforceable or remove liability the law places on us.

For use in a business or profession, and only where such exclusions are enforceable, they also seek to exclude indirect or consequential losses and loss of business profit, revenue, opportunity or goodwill resulting from use of this free information service. Holding a professional qualification does not, by itself, remove any consumer status you may have.

This section concerns the general website service. It does not transfer the founder’s or another person’s actual legal obligations to a separate business, protect anyone from their own fraud, or override a separate accepted professional engagement.

11. Liabilities and rights that remain protected

Nothing in this notice excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or anything else that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.

Your mandatory consumer and data-protection rights, and any applicable duties concerning reasonable care and skill, remain intact. The fairness and transparency rules for consumer notices can apply even where no contract exists. Any exclusion that requires a reasonableness assessment is subject to that assessment.

You do not give up a claim, regulatory complaint or statutory remedy merely because you have seen this notice, used the website or subscribed. A court or other competent authority determines the notice’s effect in the circumstances; the website cannot decide that issue for you.

12. Availability and security

Access is provided as a free information service and may be interrupted, corrected, changed or withdrawn. We do not promise uninterrupted access, compatibility with every browser or device, or preservation of browser-local data. Maintain the security of your own device and keep copies of important records.

These operational limitations do not excuse a breach of a security, accessibility, data-protection or other obligation that applies by law. Any later paid or separately contracted service would need its own applicable terms; it is not silently brought within a free-service exclusion.

14. Interpretation and changes

This notice is intended to be read under the law of England and Wales, subject to any mandatory law applicable to you. It does not deprive a consumer of protections or access to courts available under applicable law, impose exclusive jurisdiction or require arbitration.

If part of the notice cannot lawfully apply, it has no effect to that extent; the remaining provisions apply only so far as they are themselves lawful and fair. This is not an agreement to rewrite an unfair provision in our favour. Changes will be dated and do not retrospectively remove accrued rights or alter a separate engagement. Translations are aids; no language version overrides mandatory legal protections.
