Other professions
MEBEKO covers dentistry, pharmacy and veterinary medicine as well as human medicine. Nurses, midwives and paramedics use Swiss Red Cross recognition, including compulsory PreCheck and possible compensatory measures. Local language evidence is required.
Automatic or direct recognition describes a particular qualification procedure. Registration, language, scope, supervision, employment and immigration requirements can still apply. A UK licence or job title alone does not settle the route.
